Independent Final Expense Life Insurance Agent (1099)
Michigan Benefit Service & Family Care, LLC is contracting licensed independent agents to sell final expense, whole life and Medicare Advantage products. This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity, paid by commission. You work your own schedule, in the field or by phone.
What you get
- Street-level contracts, with first-year levels up to 120% with several carriers, based on meeting production requirements

- Kitchen-table training: scripts, presentation, underwriting and placement
- MiHUB, our agent app, free when all of your carrier contracts are through our agency
What you need
- An active resident life insurance license in one of the states below
- E&O coverage where a carrier requires it
- AML training where a carrier requires it
- For Medicare Advantage: an accident & health license, current AHIP and each carrier’s certification
Pay
Commission only. Levels vary by carrier, product, issue age and contract level, and are subject to carrier approval. We do not promise any level of income or sales; results depend on your own activity.
Where we contract
We currently contract agents in the 16 states where our agency is licensed: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. If your state is not listed, apply anyway and choose “Other state.”
How to apply

- Watch for your SureLC invitation by email.
- Complete your profile once and e-sign for each carrier you choose.
- Get appointed (as little as 3 days with some carriers) and start writing.
